Our Holistic Enrichment Programmes

Beyond academics, we build on vital skills, equipping your child for life.

Each day, your child can look forward to all-round learning that’s enjoyable and enriching. Together with subject-matter experts from relevant fields in STEM, Public-speaking, Digital literacy and more, we craft all our programmes using leading pedagogies that are intensively researched and designed to prepare your child for the future. This ensures that your child will receive the best possible experience.

STEM

STEM activities are a great way to keep your kids brains stimulated, and develop cognitive skills like critical thinking, problem solving and logic. This enrichment programme focuses on hands-on and exciting activities that will let your child build something while applying science, technology, engineering and math concepts to real life. Activities include: Building a rocket, making instant ice-cream, and more.

Life Skills & Wellness

Life skills prepare children to better deal with the world they are discovering in school and beyond. Here, students will be exposed to skills ranging from home repairs and cooking, to table manners and financial literacy. The student enrichment programme involves hands-on learning both in the classroom and outside. For instance, practicing table manners at a restaurant, and more practical know-how.

Effective Communicators

Communication is a vital skill that can be learned and developed with practice. We offer enrichment classes that are specially developed to give your child the guidance and practice they need to be confident public speakers and connect with others. A key feature includes guided time to prepare for mock individual and group presentations, and exposure to different public situations.

Digital Literacy

It’s essential in today’s society to be digitally literate, so your child is prepared for jobs of the future.Through this enrichment programme, we expose your child to meaningful digital tools like writing a code, making a PowerPoint presentation and designing an online project using the collaborative digital tool, Canva. Your child will also learn how to evaluate information they see on search engines and social media, so they can gather information more effectively. To help your child navigate online communities safely, they will learn good digital habits from Singapore’s leading cyber wellness coach.

Character Development

We have curated a student enrichment programme that supports your child’s character development in a safe and caring environment, encouraging your child to build their sense of self. Every activity focuses on an objective like persistence, self-control, or teamwork. This is further strengthened by a time of guided reflection that ends the activity, so your child better internalises the whole experience. Your child’s mental and emotional health is also critical to success in school and life. Your child will learn strategies to manage and respond to social conflict in school, such as bullying.

Arts Appreciation

Arts Appreciation is a series of enrichment classes that fosters wellness. We engage your child creatively in painting, pottery and more and teach them to express their emotions in a positive way. Your child will learn to appreciate art and aesthetics during a critical time of his or her development. We will help your child to appreciate balance, symmetry, colours, scale and the different elements of visual arts, bringing out the little artist in him or her.

Enrichment Programme Timetable

Each day, your child can look forward to all-round learning that’s enriching and enjoyable, with break times for recharging.

On a regular school day, we focus more on academics, so your child is prepared for the next day at school. Over the school holidays, we expand their learning with diverse programmes, so your child develops holistically. This includes going on supervised outdoor excursions, gaining practical life skills, learning through enriching STEM experiences, and immersing in creative art and wellness projects. On occasion, kids will interact across age groups. This model orientates your child to the real world, where society is made up of a wide spectrum of people.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What are enrichment programmes and how do they support my child’s learning in Singapore?

Enrichment programmes extend a child’s learning beyond the school syllabus by strengthening core skills, and building confidence in newly introduced interests. At Curos, these programmes complement the structured routines of our student care centre and help children grow holistically.

Our programmes include English, Mathematics, Science and Chinese, delivered by Learning Point and Hua Cheng. Children also explore STEM, digital literacy, arts and communication modules that develop creativity, curiosity and essential life skills.

Classes are led by experienced educators and subject specialists from established enrichment providers. With small class sizes and purposeful teaching methods, they offer the focused support children need to learn well and stay engaged.

Enrichment takes place as part of the after-school routine. Lessons are scheduled after homework supervision and integrated into the daily flow so learning remains balanced, purposeful and unhurried.
